Blue Walls by user5448387

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Arcades, the Strategist is the engine and payoff of a wall deck. The primary plan is to resolve Arcades on turn three, then play cheap defenders-most of which cantrip-to draw into more walls and turn the entire board into huge unblockable attackers that deal toughness damage. Backup toughness-matters permanents (Assault Formation, High Alert, Bedrock Tortoise, Baldin) keep the plan alive if the commander is answered. Haste from Crashing Drawbridge and unblockable from Tetsuko Umezawa convert the wall count into a single lethal alpha strike. Late game, The Pride of Hull Clade and Reunion of the House provide explosive draw and mass reanimation to rebuild after wipes.
