Deck overview

This deck is a thematic and aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal strategy commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The primary game plan revolves around flooding the battlefield with low-cost Dwarf creatures and generating a stockpile of Treasure tokens. Once Thorin enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dwarf creates another Treasure while Thorin passively buffs all other Dwarves with +1/+0 for each artifact token under your control. This converts casual token accumulation into exponential board power, turning modest 2/2 Dwarves into massive lethal attackers. High-impact equipment like The Reaver Cleaver and Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver along with powerful payoffs such as Goldspan Dragon, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Smaug the Magnificent provide secondary win conditions and explosive mana bursts. While the deck lacks stack-based countermagic, its targeted removal suite, defensive equipment, and tribal synergies allow it to establish overwhelming combat boards and rapidly eliminate opponents in the mid-game.
