Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf-tribal deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, built around a singular, powerful engine: the commander gains every activated ability of every Elf card in the graveyard, while drawing two cards whenever another legendary Elf enters. The deck floods the board with Elf mana dorks, fills the graveyard with key legendary Elves like Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Lathril, Blade of the Elves, then casts Thranduil to inherit their game-ending activated abilities. The primary win is a drain finish - sacrificing huge creatures to Jarad's ability or tapping ten Elves for Lathril's 10-life drain, both accessible through the commander - with a combat fallback of lords and overrun effects from Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Tyvar, the Pummeler. The deck is a dense, redundant engine that turns the graveyard into a toolbox of Elf abilities.
