pirates by freescans4

Format: Commander

Commander: Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Malcolm and Kediss form a turbo-treasure engine: Malcolm carries Kediss's damage to every opponent, turning one unblocked hit into three Treasure tokens. That mana is the deck's ramp, letting it chain Pirates, refuel through Kindred Discovery, and eventually fire a massive Crackle with Power. Kediss also makes Malcolm a one-swing commander-damage threat if he can be made unblockable and pumped. Secondary lines include Pirate/Vehicle beatdown with The Belligerent and The Indomitable, copy effects like Molten Echoes and Reflections of Littjara, and animating treasures with Rise and Shine. Breeches, Brazen Plunderer acts as a hidden commander, copying Malcolm's trigger and supplying card advantage in the 99.
