Deck overview

This deck is a focused Golgari Aristocrats combo deck helmed by Long Feng, Grand Secretariat. The central strategy revolves around generating infinite death triggers and +1/+1 counters using a two-card loop between Long Feng and Basking Broodscale. Whenever an Eldrazi Spawn token generated by Broodscale is sacrificed for colorless mana, Long Feng places a +1/+1 counter onto Broodscale, triggering the creation of another Spawn infinitely. Supported by redundant combo pieces like Scurry Oak and Ghost Lantern, dense 1-mana ramp, and deep creature tutoring, the deck consistently threatens critical board states by Turn 4. While the list lacks blue interaction or stack-based protection, its high density of efficient reanimation spells (Unearth, Chthonian Nightmare, Victimize) gives it resilient engine recovery against spot removal, enabling decisive finishes via Cogwork Assembler or life drain.
