Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange powerhouse piloted by Yuna, Grand Summoner. Yuna acts as both a mana accelerant and a reliable counter distributor, placing extra counters on incoming creatures and recycling counters from dying permanents. The deck builds mana velocity through scaling dorks like Incubation Druid and Gyre Sage, while compounding resource advantages using engines such as Danny Pink and Rhystic Study. It achieves critical onset around Turn 5 by deploying potent counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season, executing asymmetric wipes with Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye, or utilizing combat enablers like Chocobo Knights and Kodama of the West Tree. Additionally, it features an infinite Spawn loop via Renata, Called to the Hunt, Basking Broodscale, and Yuna, which funnels into a lethal Walking Ballista. Backed by comprehensive protection like Ripples of Potential and Heroic Intervention, the deck reliably closes games on Turn 6.
