Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy combat and attrition strategy built around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. The primary game plan accelerates Obeka onto the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, equips her with unblockable and protective equipment, and attacks to trigger additional upkeep steps proportional to combat damage dealt. These extra upkeeps supercharge powerful enchantments and creatures such as Court of Ambition, Twilight Prophet, Descent into Avernus, and Plargg and Nassari, generating overwhelming card advantage, free spells, and devastating life loss for opponents in a single turn. The deck shields its commander using an extensive suite of Ward, Hexproof, Shroud, and Grand Abolisher effects like Conqueror's Flail. It also features an infinite combat win condition with Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine. By pairing aggressive combat connection with compounding end-step upkeep triggers, the deck rapidly locks down the table and closes the game on Turn 6.
