Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon is a five-color Dragon battlecruiser. Eminence makes every other Dragon cost one less while Ur-Dragon stays in the command zone, and its attack trigger draws cards equal to attacking Dragons and cheats a permanent into play. The main plan is to ramp, deploy discounted Dragons, and win through combat boosted by damage triggers from Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas and Terror of the Peaks and Treasure bursts from Ancient Copper Dragon and Goldspan Dragon. Backup paths are token swarms from Lathliss and Utvara Hellkite and free casting via Dracogenesis and Majestic Genesis. Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is the hidden commander, doubling each Dragon and enabling the strongest loops.
