Snake Mommy by Akatana

Format: Commander

Commander: Xyris, the Writhing Storm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Xyris, the Writhing Storm leads a group hug wheel strategy that turns symmetrical card draw into overwhelming board presence and direct damage. The deck accelerates opponent card draws using symmetrical draw engines like Howling Mine and mass wheel effects like Windfall, Reforge the Soul, and Teferi's Puzzle Box. Every extra card drawn by opponents triggers Xyris to create 1/1 Snake creature tokens. The primary win condition converts these massive token waves into immediate burn through Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Molten Gatekeeper, or into lethal combat damage using Craterhoof Behemoth, Shared Animosity, and Coat of Arms.
