Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon tribal build centered on Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the early game using cost-reducers and mana rocks, deploying Lathliss by Turn 5. Once the commander is established, casting subsequent Dragons floods the board with 5/5 flying tokens. Impact cards like Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas turn each entering Dragon into direct burn, softening opposing life totals while flying beaters swing over grounded defenses. The deck excels at generating overwhelming board presence in casual pods, closing out games by Turn 8. Its primary limitations stem from high mana curves, vulnerability to sweepers, and scarce stack interaction.
