Deck overview

This Sultai deck is helmed by Maralen, Fae Ascendant, combining traditional Elf mana velocity with Faerie evasion and tempo theft. The primary strategy involves accelerating early using 1-mana mana dorks into token generators like Bitterblossom and Elvish Warmaster. Once Maralen, Fae Ascendant enters the battlefield on Turn 4, every subsequent Elf or Faerie entry exiles cards from opposing libraries, allowing the pilot to cast powerful opposing spells for free each turn. The deck controls the pace of the game using a robust counterspell package, combat fogs, and creature attrition via High Perfect Morcant. Victory is achieved by swarming the board with evasive Faeries and buffed Elves, leveraging anthem lords like Galadhrim Brigade and Elvish Archdruid, or draining opponents directly through Lathril, Blade of the Elves.
