Deck overview

This deck aims to ramp out Xyris, the Writhing Storm ahead of curve and leverage symmetrical draw spells into massive asymmetrical board states. Whenever an opponent draws extra cards, Xyris creates a 1/1 green Snake token. By chaining cards like Windfall, Reforge the Soul, and Winds of Change, the deck floods the board with 20 or more Snake tokens in a single turn. These tokens are converted into victory either through instant enter-the-field damage engines such as Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors, or through devastating combat overruns using Beastmaster Ascension and Shared Animosity. While the deck churns through cards rapidly once Xyris attacks, it lacks tutors to search up specific win conditions and gives opponents full hands through its wheel spells, leaving it exposed to well-timed sweepers.
