Format: Commander

Creator: Elfbane5

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Gwenom, Remorseless as both a lifelink attacker and an impulsive card engine. By attacking with Gwenom, you cast spells off the top of your library by paying life rather than mana. The strategy converts high life totals and black mana into decisive combo finishes or massive life-drain bursts. Primary win paths revolve around pairing Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Marauding Blight-Priest to drain all opponents instantly upon any life change. Alternatively, Bolas's Citadel, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Sensei's Divining Top chain infinite casts to eliminate the table with direct 50-damage bursts.
