Deck overview

Surgeon General Commander leads a five-color Un-set midrange deck that wins through combat, not combos. The commander fixes mana and draws cards when you augment, enchant, or mutate, but the deck runs few true auras so the draw is occasional. You ramp, deploy large or unusual threats like Infinity Elemental, Hydradoodle, and It Came from Planet Glurg, then push damage with Overwhelming Stampede or Kessig Wolf Run. Alternate paths include Gray Merchant of Alphabet drain and the Now I Know My ABC's alphabet win. No infinite combos are present, so every win needs board presence, trample, and sequential attacks.
