Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mono-Green Stompy build commanded by Ashaya, Soul of the Wild. The strategy uses low-cost mana elves to accelerate into midgame threats and deploy Ashaya on Turn 4. Once Ashaya enters the battlefield, every nontoken creature becomes a Forest land. This interaction doubles the deck's mana output, protects creatures from nonland bounce spells like Cyclonic Rift, and scales Ashaya's power and toughness to enormous levels. The deck converts high creature power into massive card advantage through spells like Rishkar's Expertise, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Garruk's Uprising. It finishes games through devastating combat overruns using Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. While vulnerable to traditional creature sweepers, the deck packs strong instant-speed protection and resilient secondary threats that maintain a lethal clock even without the commander.
