Commander: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari graveyard-matters deck is commanded by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and aims to fill its graveyard with creatures, then use Jarad's sacrifice ability to drain the table. The deck leans heavily on self-mill, dredge, and land-based recursion to stock the yard with oversized threats like Lord of Extinction and Boneyard Mycodrax, which are then sacrificed for lethal damage. Secondary plans include combat beats from large creatures (Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Sandman, Shifting Scoundrel) and the Hedge Shredder/Titania, Nature's Force land-synergy package. The commander is a key finisher but not the sole engine-the deck can pivot to a creature-based midrange backup.
