Commander: Queen Marchesa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Mardu tokens-and-monarch deck helmed by Queen Marchesa. The primary plan is to go wide with an enormous redundancy of token generators (30+ sources), become the monarch for extra card draw, and convert the swarm into damage through anthem effects like Intangible Virtue and Divine Visitation, plus a dense drain package - Impact Tremors, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, and Perforating Artist - that bleeds the table out as tokens enter and die. The commander provides the monarch draw engine and a recurring deathtouch Assassin token, while backup monarch sources (Court of Grace, Grave Venerations, Marchesa's Decree, Crimson Fleet Commodore) keep the card advantage flowing even if she is removed. The deck wins through incremental combat beats and life-drain rather than any infinite combo, with Ruinous Ultimatum as a one-sided reset.
