Deck overview

This is a mono-white lifegain deck that converts every point of life gained into +1/+1 counters, then closes games with an overwhelming lifelink combat step. Celestine, the Living Saint provides flying, lifelink, and the deck's only repeatable recursion engine, returning a value creature each end step proportional to the turn's life gained - re-buying Inspiring Overseer, Archangel of Thune, and Ambitious Farmhand turn after turn. The 99 is a dense web of lifegain payoffs: Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Archangel of Thune, Nykthos Paragon, Cradle of Vitality, and a host of pridemate-style bodies that snowball off every trigger. Card flow comes from life-gain cantrips and engines like Dawn of Hope, Well of Lost Dreams, and Sigarda's Splendor. Finishers are combat-oriented: True Conviction, Akroma's Will, and Angelic Skirmisher turn a counters-laden board of double-striking lifelinkers into a table kill, while Elenda's Hierophant and Voice of the Blessed serve as scaling threats. The deck has no infinite combos and very few tutors; it wins through accrual and a single overwhelming swing.
