Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color Dragon tribal and reanimator strategy centered on Scion of the Ur-Dragon. The commander functions as a repeatable, instant-speed toolbox tutor from the command zone, transforming into any Dragon in the 99 for two mana while placing the original card directly into the graveyard. The early game focuses on deploying efficient 1- and 2-CMC ramp pieces to fix all five colors and cast Scion ahead of curve. Once operational on Turn 4, Scion attacks on Turn 5 to copy game-breaking Elder Dragons such as Ancient Silver Dragon for overwhelming card draw or Old Gnawbone for massive mana generation. Alternatively, it executes an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Savage Ventmaw. On Turn 6, the deck converts these accrued resources into a table-wide lethal finish using haste enablers, ETB damage triggers from Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas, and mass reanimation spells like Patriarch's Bidding.
