DeckCheck Threat Index: 36

Deck overview

This five-color midrange deck pairs Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart to create a synergistic engine centered on tokens and +1/+1 counters. Early turns focus on mana fixing and deploying Michelangelo on turn two to start generating Food tokens and counters through combat. Leonardo enters on turn four, transforming every subsequent token into a team-wide buff. Counter amplifiers like Branching Evolution and Innkeeper's Talent rapidly grow your creatures into massive threats. Payoffs such as All Will Be One, Herald of Secret Streams, and Uncivil Unrest convert tall boards into lethal damage. Asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye break parity by wiping opposing creatures while leaving your counter-laden army intact. The deck defends its board with Inspiring Call and Mutational Advantage, eventually closing the game through unblockable combat damage, direct burn, or Leonardo's five-color keyword activation.
