Deck overview

This deck is a high-power artifact combo and stax list commanded by Urza, Lord High Artificer. It converts cheap artifacts, mana rocks, and utility utility pieces into blue mana sources. The primary win condition combines Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal to generate infinite mana. Once infinite mana is established, Urza exiles the entire library to cast game-ending payoffs like Aetherflux Reservoir or initiate loops with Hullbreaker Horror. To control the table pacing, the deck runs asymmetric stax pieces such as Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Back to Basics. Urza taps these stax artifacts right before his controller's untap step to turn off their symmetrical restrictions, creating massive resource disparity. A low-curve interaction suite of counterspells, spot removal, and artifact tutors ensures high consistency and resilient execution.
