Deck overview

Oviya, Automech Artisan is a mono-green cheat deck that puts large creatures and artifact creatures into play without paying full cost. The primary plan uses Oviya's {G}, {T} ability to cheat threats like Ancient Stone Idol, Triplicate Titan, Darksteel Colossus and Primeval Protector, then attacks with the trample Oviya gives to all attackers. The secondary path is poison: Paladin of Predation, Plague Myr, Core Prowler and Venomous Brutalizer apply poison counters, while Evolution Sage, Bloom Hulk, Cankerbloom and Staff of Compleation proliferate to 10. Elvish Piper is the hidden commander, providing a redundant cheat effect when Oviya is removed or too expensive.
