Deck overview

This competitive Commander list is an explosive Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary plan pairs Vivi with damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 noncombat damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, every cheap spell draws three cards, instantly igniting a self-sustaining storm turn on Turn 3. Vivi's {0} activation converts accrued +1/+1 counters into a massive mana burst, allowing the deck to dig through its entire library and burn all three opponents to death in a single turn. The deck is fortified by premier fast mana, dense draw engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study, and a formidable suite of free countermagic including Force of Will, Deflecting Swat, and Fierce Guardianship. If the commander line is contested, the deck pivots seamlessly into an independent Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze loop.
