Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Group Slug and resource attrition deck led by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. The game plan revolves around forcing all players to draw extra cards while simultaneously punishing opponents for drawing and discarding. Cards like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Razorkin Needlehead convert forced card draw into direct life loss, while Waste Not, Painful Quandary, and Oppression punish opponents for attempting to cast spells or manage their hands. Winter's Delirium mechanic shrinks opposing maximum hand sizes down to 2 or 3 cards, creating an aggressive resource squeeze that denies opponents the ability to hold answers. While the deck contains an incidental two-card infinite combo in Chain of Smog and Professor Onyx, it primarily wins through relentless table-wide attrition and passive drain. Its main vulnerabilities stem from a high density of tapped lands, minimal stack protection, and providing opponents with extra cards.
