Deck overview

This Sultai deck transforms the legend rule into an exponential token generator using Uugguu, the Omniplasm. By casting Shapeshifters that copy Uugguu, the nontoken clones immediately die to the legend rule as a state-based action. This triggers Uugguu to create two nonlegendary 2/2 copies of itself. With three active Uugguu engines on the battlefield, any subsequent nontoken Ooze or clone death generates six token duplicates. Supported by an efficient 1-2 CMC ramp package, the deck assembles its core by Turn 4 and floods the board on Turn 5. A comprehensive interaction suite—featuring free and low-mana counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and universal removal like Assassin's Trophy—protects the development window. The deck closes the game on Turn 6 through a decisive Craterhoof Behemoth combat overrun or gravestorm mill via Bitter Ordeal.
