Deck overview

This is a blue-black ninjutsu tempo deck built to abuse Satoru Umezawa's static ability, which gives every creature card in hand ninjutsu. The plan is straightforward: attack with a cheap unblockable threat such as Mist-Cloaked Herald, Slither Blade, Gingerbrute, or Silent Hallcreeper, then return it to hand and put a high-cost bomb like Sire of Seven Deaths, Darksteel Colossus, Hullbreaker Horror, or Bane of Bala Ged onto the battlefield tapped and attacking for only {2}{U}{B}. Satoru's trigger then digs three cards deep for the next piece. The deck wins through repeated evasive combat damage plus attritional life loss from Rottenmouth Viper, Massacre Wurm, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel, with Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubling much of that damage. The Kaito planeswalkers provide card advantage, token generation, and ways to recycle attackers. This is a non-combo, value-driven deck whose entire cheat-into-play engine is concentrated in the command zone.
