Kykar V3 by user8330255

Format: Commander

Commander: Kykar, Wind's Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kykar, Wind's Fury leads a spellslinger deck that converts noncreature spells into 1/1 flying Spirit tokens and bursts of red mana. The primary strategy chains cheap cantrips and token producers to build a wide aerial board or trigger direct damage burn through Guttersnipe, Impact Tremors, and Agate Instigator. Alternatively, the deck can close the game via combat buff engines like Jeskai Ascendancy and Shared Animosity, or assemble the infinite ping-draw loop between Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. Kykar acts as both a mana engine and board generator to fuel large storm-style turns.
