Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns the graveyard into a toolbox: the deck mills and discards Elf cards so the commander can borrow their activated abilities, from Priest of Titania's massive mana to Fauna Shaman's tutors. A standard Elfball shell gives the board presence, while legendary Elves like Galadriel and Lathril trigger Thranduil's draw-two engine. Wins come through combat, usually by making a giant attacker with Gloom Ripper or Haldir and then Overwhelming Stampede, or through Lathril's drain activation. The deck is resilient to creature wipes because of recursion, but graveyard hate is its chief vulnerability.
