Cap A-Mill-ica B2 by user5523872

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain America, Living Legend

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a focused Azorius mill strategy built around Captain America, Living Legend and a critical mass of Persistent Petitioners (23 copies). Cap's untap trigger lets every creature tap twice on your turn, turning Petitioners into efficient repeatable mill and enabling the four-Advisor activation multiple times per turn cycle. The supporting package layers mill doublers (Bruvac the Grandiloquent, The Water Crystal), landfall crabs, draw-triggered mill (Psychic Corrosion, Sphinx's Tutelage), and one-shot library destruction (Traumatize, Maddening Cacophony, Cut Your Losses, Fractured Sanity, Tasha's Hideous Laughter). Thrumming Stone exploits the Petitioner density via ripple for explosive board floods. Secondary angles include monarch mill from Court of Cunning and exhaust finishers on Riverchurn Monument. The deck wins by emptying libraries rather than combat; Cap is a powerful enabler but the mill suite lives entirely in the 99.
