Deck overview

This mono-blue deck transforms combat damage into table-wide library mill using its commander, The Mindskinner. Because The Mindskinner is unblockable and has 10 power, every successful attack prevents 10 damage and forces every opponent to mill 10 cards simultaneously. The list supplements this combat engine with potent mill doublers such as Bruvac the Grandiloquent, continuous mill triggers like Memory Erosion and Mindcrank, and burst sorceries including Maddening Cacophony and Traumatize. The deck can also assemble an alternate two-card win condition using Painter's Servant and Grindstone. A solid suite of mono-blue card selection, countermagic, and protective equipment like Commander's Plate shields the commander from opposing removal. While the commander's 1 toughness leaves it inherently vulnerable to cheap removal and pings, the deck applies relentless multi-player pressure that rapidly exhausts opposing libraries by Turn 7.
