Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck executes a dedicated poison and proliferate midrange strategy. The primary game plan centers on distributing initial poison counters to all opponents during early turns via low-cost toxic/infect creatures like Skrelv, Defector Mite, Plague Stinger, and Jawbone Duelist, or non-combat spells such as Prologue to Phyresis and Vraska's Fall. Once the table is seeded with poison, casting Atraxa, Praetors' Voice on Turn 4 establishes a free, repeatable end-step proliferate engine. High-density support from cards like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Evolution Sage, Inexorable Tide, and Radstorm rapidly multiplies poison counters, bypassing traditional 40-life totals entirely to eliminate all three opponents within two turn cycles. The deck secures this clock with efficient disruption, free commander-protection spells such as Fierce Guardianship and Flawless Maneuver, and asymmetric stax pieces like Aura Shards and Grand Abolisher to close out the game reliably.
