Deck overview

This deck is a focused Grixis combo-control list commanded by Inalla, Archmage Ritualist. The primary game plan revolves around assembling a compact infinite combo—most notably Dualcaster Mage combined with Twinflame—to create infinite hasty creature tokens that eliminate all opponents in a single combat phase. The deck leverages Inalla's Eminence ability from the command zone to extract immediate card advantage, board presence, and recursion from low-cost utility Wizards without ever needing to cast the commander. Efficient tutoring mechanisms such as Wizardcycling on Step Through and Vedalken Aethermage ensure high consistency, while a robust package of ten counterspells and cheap spot removal protects combo execution and disrupts opposing game plans. When primary lines are contested, secondary engines involving Scholar of the Ages, Archaeomancer, and Ghostly Flicker provide reliable mana loops and recursion to close out the game.
