Foxhole Mole Patrol (But Better!) by Espers2Magicite

Format: Commander

Commander: Anzrag, the Quake-Mole

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul forced-blocking combat deck built entirely around Anzrag, the Quake-Mole. The plan is to cast Anzrag, force opponents to block him with effects like Compelled Duel, Lure, and Armed // Dangerous, then chain his "untap + extra combat" trigger into an unstoppable sequence of combats. With a double-strike source such as Temur Battle Rage or Fireshrieker, Anzrag deals 16 commander damage per combat and can eliminate all three opponents in a single turn of chained combats. The deck backs this with a dense ramp package to land Anzrag on turn 3, a handful of big value beaters (Inferno Titan, Tectonic Giant), and light protection in Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer. It is a one-note but brutally efficient kill deck: get Anzrag through, force the block, and let the extra-combat loop do the rest.
