Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron and Burn strategy built around Captain America, First Avenger. The primary objective is to deploy Captain America on Turn 3, use his Catch ability on Turn 4 to bypass steep equip costs on massive weapons like Colossus Hammer or Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and pressure life totals with heavy commander damage. His Throw ability turns unattached Equipment into instant-speed removal and player burn. High Equipment tutor density ensures dependable access to weapons and protective gear such as Commander's Plate and Whispersilk Cloak. While the list features an infinite colorless mana combo with Basalt Monolith and Zirda, the Dawnwaker, its ordinary path to victory remains sequential combat elimination and direct burn. The deck operates smoothly on curve but requires careful management of its tap-lands and vulnerability to mass exile sweepers.
