Planeswalk With Me by Wrathfire

Format: Commander

Commander: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist

Bracket: 4

DeckCheck Threat Index: 34

Deck overview

This Azorius deck pairs Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to execute an aggressive Equipment Voltron strategy supported by planeswalkers and clone synergies. Ardenn eliminates massive equip costs by attaching powerful armaments such as Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, and the Kaldra set directly at the beginning of combat for zero mana. Sakashima enhances this plan by cloning key creatures or planeswalkers while ignoring the legend rule. Supported by dense artifact tutoring from cards like Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Open the Armory, the deck reliably presents a lethal commander damage threat as early as Turn 4. While the deck boasts high assembly velocity and durable protection through Clever Concealment and Lightning Greaves, its win condition remains strictly tied to single-target combat. Without extra combat phases or combo finishes, eliminating an entire pod requires multiple combat rotations, leaving the deck vulnerable to concerted interaction during protracted multiplayer games.
