Commander: Mikaeus, the Unhallowed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a monoblack Zombie-tribal combo deck driven by Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. The primary plan uses his undying ability to loop creatures like Triskelion for infinite damage or Gravecrawler with a drain outlet. The deck combines dense graveyard-tutoring (Entomb, Buried Alive) with cheap reanimation (Reanimate, Victimize) and a robust ritual package (Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual) to accelerate its commander and combo pieces. A secondary beatdown avenue exists through lords like Undead Warchief and Death Baron, but the real engine is the graveyard. Win conditions center on infinite-trigger loops: Mikaeus + Triskelion, or Gravecrawler + a sacrifice outlet + any drain effect (Ayara, First of Lochtwain, Vengeful Dead, Plague Belcher). The deck is all-in on graveyard synergy, with only Withered Wretch as a way to answer opposing hate pieces.
