Deck overview

This Naya deck focuses on animating lands and triggering powerful landfall payoffs under Toph, the First Metalbender. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through green ramp spells and artifacts, enabling an on-curve deployment of Toph by Turn 3 or 4. Once Toph is active, nontoken artifacts function as lands and end-step triggers steadily create resilient land creatures. Midgame turns transition into wide board states using heavy landfall payoffs such as Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Bumi, Unleashed. The built-in death trigger on earthbent lands provides natural insurance against creature sweepers by returning destroyed lands to the battlefield tapped. While the deck lacks stack interaction and tutor density, its redundant threats and robust mana base allow it to maintain steady pressure and close the game through combat damage by Turn 8.
