Format: Commander

Commander: Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar leads an Orzhov blink/aristocrats deck that turns repeated flicker triggers into commander growth, life gain, and board wipes on a stick. The primary plan is to chain enter-the-battlefield triggers with instant-speed flicker effects, growing Syr Vondam until its death/exile trigger destroys a nonland permanent. Secondary paths include Abdel Adrian token generation, Obzedat life drain, and a Felidar Guardian blink loop. The deck is built to use Syr Vondam's death trigger as removal, not as a dedicated combo commander. It wins through incremental value, commander damage, and token combat, with a hidden Abdel Adrian combo line.
