Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm to execute a Dragon tribal stompy strategy backed by an explosive creature-based combo. The game plan focuses on spending the early turns ramping into an accelerated Turn 4 Miirym. Once the commander is established, any subsequent Dragon cast creates an immediate, nonlegendary copy, doubling power, combat triggers, and direct burn. Threats like Terror of the Peaks and Ureni of the Unwritten provide overwhelming immediate presence, while Old Gnawbone pairs with Aggravated Assault to deliver an infinite combat loop that finishes the game on the spot. The deck protects its heavy mana investments through a deep suite of efficient 1-CMC and 2-CMC counterspells and anti-counter utility lands. While vulnerable to timely board wipes and reliant on high creature density, the deck's card draw engines and standalone dragon threats maintain high resilience and lethal inevitability.
