Deck overview

Aerid Konstrari leads an explosive Gruul midrange deck that turns artifact tokens and creature copying into overwhelming board presence and direct burn. The strategy accelerates early using cheap mana dorks and rocks to deploy Aerid Konstrari by Turn 3 or 4, generating Heartwood tokens that fix mana and ramp future turns. Once the commander is established, power-based draw spells like Greater Good and Rishkar's Expertise refill the hand with 5+ cards. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 5 through several overlapping win conditions: animating artifact tokens into 7/7 beaters with Displaced Dinosaurs, granting massive trample buffs via Craterclaw Colossus, burning the table with pingers like Ingenious Artillerist, or executing an infinite copy loop with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. Strong defensive spells like Heroic Intervention and Rhythm of the Wild safeguard big plays, while creature tutors provide consistent access to key utility pieces.
