Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange strategy that links the scry mechanic directly to +1/+1 counter distribution. Commanded by Arwen Undómiel, the deck turns routine library manipulation into steady board growth. Low-cost scry enablers like Sigiled Starfish, Silver Raven, and Elrond, Lord of Rivendell trigger Arwen Undómiel to continuously buff your creatures. Mid-game payoffs such as Elrond, Master of Healing, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Loading Zone accelerate this counter growth exponentially, while Matoya, Archon Elder converts scrying into raw card draw. The deck closes games through combat damage with tall, evasive threats or via an alternate win condition in Simic Ascendancy. While the deck enjoys high operational consistency and draw quality thanks to continuous scrying, it relies heavily on permanent-based board presence and carries limited instant-speed protection against mass board wipes.
