Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir Aristocrats Combo deck commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. It focuses on generating disposable Zombie tokens, converting creature deaths into card advantage and mana, and assembling game-ending infinite loops. The primary win condition revolves around sacrificing Gravecrawler repeatedly with Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader while an aristocrat drain effect like Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, or The Meathook Massacre is active. Alternatively, it can achieve a clean two-card victory by casting Acererak the Archlich for free with Rooftop Storm to repeatedly venture into the Lost Mine of Phandelver and drain the table. Dense 1-to-2 CMC ramp, robust tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive, and heavy graveyard recursion make the engine resilient against removal, while countermagic and instant removal protect the critical combo turn.
