Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Sultai midrange game plan centered on The Wise Mothman. It leverages dense 1-to-2 CMC ramp to deploy the commander on Turn 3, immediately spreading rad counters to all players. As opponents mill cards on their precombat main phases, Mothman distributes +1/+1 counters across your board, rapidly inflating your creatures. Counter amplifiers such as Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, and Hardened Scales accelerate this growth into overwhelming combat threats by Turn 5. Evasion enablers like Herald of Secret Streams and high-value draw engines like Danny Pink translate counter distribution into unblockable attacks and continuous card advantage. The deck is shielded by a comprehensive defensive package featuring Heroic Intervention, Mutational Advantage, and Ripples of Potential, ensuring key threats survive sweepers and targeted removal while closing out games across two combat cycles.
