Deck overview

This competitive mono-red storm deck leverages Zada, Hedron Grinder to convert low-cost single-target cantrips into massive card-drawing explosions. By establishing an early board of zero- and one-mana creatures alongside explosive acceleration like Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, and Rite of Flame, the deck reliably deploys Zada on Turn 3. Casting a 1-mana cantrip triggers Zada's ability, copying the spell for every creature on the board and refilling the hand with 4 to 8 fresh cards. This card velocity quickly finds burst mana generators such as Battle Hymn, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Treasonous Ogre, powering through the library in a single turn. The deck finishes the game on the spot by generating lethal trample damage across all opponents using cards like Fists of Flame and Devastating Onslaught, or by executing an infinite token attack with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame.
