Deck overview

This Abzan deck pairs Tymna the Weaver and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper to form a resilient lifegain and midrange creature engine. The game plan opens with efficient 1-drop mana creatures and Soul Sisters that immediately support a Turn 2 Tymna. Attacking open opponents on Turn 3 provides consistent early card flow while accumulating life triggers. As the game develops, Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper and lifegain amplifiers like Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, and Betor, Ancestor's Voice turn life buffers into rapidly growing creature threats. High-quality removal spells keep dangerous opposing threats in check. The deck closes out games around Turn 6 or 7 using an Akroma's Will combat overrun, a Felidar Sovereign upkeep trigger, direct drain from Commissar Severina Raine, or the infinite drain loop of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Without tutors, the deck relies on high synergy and card volume to secure victory.
