Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange strategy centered around +1/+1 counter synergies and large X-cost Tyranid creatures. Commanded by The Swarmlord, the deck accelerates its mana early with dorks and land ramp to cast massive threats with Ravenous, drawing cards immediately upon entry. Supporting engines such as Hardened Scales, Magus Lucea Kane, and Unbound Flourishing exponentially increase the size and impact of each creature cast. The Swarmlord serves as both a massive threat and an insurance policy, turning opponent board wipes into massive bursts of card draw. Once an army of formidable Tyranids is assembled, the deck provides evasion and combat buffs via Winged Hive Tyrant, Old One Eye, and Garruk's Uprising to trample over opposing defenses and finish the table over consecutive attack phases.
