Marchesa Forever by duesenjet161

Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marchesa, the Black Rose heads an aristocrats and theft engine that exploits +1/+1 counters to create an immortal creature board. The primary game plan revolves around placing counters on your creatures through dethrone, Unspeakable Symbol, or backup triggers, and sacrificing them to free outlets like Viscera Seer and Ashnod's Altar to trigger death effects and return them at each end step. Temporary threaten spells permanently steal opposing creatures when sacrificed with counters. The deck closes games either through combat damage amplified by Herald of Secret Streams or infinite persist loops using River Kelpie or Glen Elendra Archmage with Thran Vigil to drain opponents via The Meathook Massacre and Flayer of the Hatebound.
