Deck overview

Rat King, Verminister leads a Rat Colony horde. The deck's primary plan is a Thrumming Stone chain: cast one Rat Colony and ripple through the 25 copies, then attack with an army in which every Rat gets +1/+0 for every other Rat. The commander is a mass-recursion and token engine: sacrificing three Rats returns every Rat Colony from the graveyard, and its Disappear trigger replaces lost permanents. Drain effects such as Ayara, Blood Artist, and Bontu's Monument turn the swarm's deaths and entries into direct damage. Sephiroth and Ashcoat are support pieces; there is no hidden commander. Win lines rely on combat plus incidental life-loss rather than infinite loops.
