Snake Experiments On Local Wildlife by GamerSalsa

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloakwood Hermit and Sivriss, Nightmare Speaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

With Sivriss, Nightmare Speaker in the command zone and Cloakwood Hermit as a Background, this Golgari deck is a grindy aristocrats/reanimator engine. Sivriss sacrifices tokens and artifacts to mill and return cards, while Cloakwood turns any creature card hitting your graveyard into two Squirrel tokens at end step. Secondary plans lean on creature recursion (Whisper, Cauldron of Essence, Altar of Bhaal) and the Mycotyrant to mass-produce sacrifice fodder, using Blood Artist-type drains to turn every death into life loss. There are no double-faced commanders; the hidden Fang/Vanille meld pair is present but Ragnarok is not included, so they function only as value pieces.
