Deck overview

This Jeskai deck uses Captain America, First Avenger as both a Voltron threat and a repeatable removal engine. By cheating equip costs through Captain America's Catch trigger, the deck attaches massive equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden and Colossus Hammer at zero mana cost. The deck leverages high mana values to deal direct damage using Cap's Throw ability, clearing opposing blockers and utility creatures while delivering lethal commander damage swings. A suite of low-cost equipment tutors provides consistent access to essential weapons and utility pieces, while robust protection spells like Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Protection, and Grand Abolisher ensure uninterrupted combat turns. Backup beaters like Akiri, Line-Slinger and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary maintain strong offensive pressure even if the commander is removed.
